The essence of all Vedic literatures is the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (sarva-vedānta-sāraṁ hi, ŚB 12.13.15), and the pinnacle of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is the 10th Canto, where we hear solely about the summum bonum, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Kṛṣṇa spent the first 16 years in Vṛndāvana, followed by Mathurā, and then the final and most significant portion of his 125 years on the planet in Dvārakā. For Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇavas, the period in Vṛndāvana is of most importance, and interest.

With this in mind, Śrīla Śivarāma Swami embarked on a study of the first 39 chapters of the 10th Canto, which describe Kṛṣṇa’s mesmerising pastimes in the land of Vraja. Including extensive research, and based on the writings of Śrīla Prabhupāda and our predecessor ācāryas, this set of books is entitled the Kṛṣṇa in Vṛndāvana Series.

We live in a world which is very embroiling and full of distractions, as we are constantly bombarded with things of this world. Contrastingly, the level of depth and insight of these books is unique, providing the reader an opportunity to come in touch with Kṛṣṇa and Vṛndāvana in a very tangible way, making His multi-layered, multi-faceted pastimes digestible, accessible, and decidedly “real”. We often talk of Going Back to Godhead, to the extent that the term has become hackneyed or cliché, but by mining the great wealth of literatures we have to hand, and the realisations coming forth from decades of deep practice, these books bring the concept alive, helping us to understand what exactly it means. We learn more about the pastimes, moods, personalities and interactions in Vṛndāvana, and thus our desire to actually go there is nourished.

So, for the first time ever, all the volumes of the series thus far are in print and available together in a beautiful special limited edition box set.

With only 150 box sets available, we would advise you not to delay.
