1. Overview
SRS Books accepts returns for most eligible physical products purchased directly from our website. This policy covers both:
- change-of-mind returns, and
- returns for items that are damaged, defective, incorrect, or not as described.
This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
2. Return Window
Physical books and eligible physical merchandise
You may request a return within 30 days after delivery.
Damaged, defective, incorrect, or not-as-described items
Please contact us within 30 days after delivery, or within any longer period required by applicable law.
Digital products
For e-books, audiobooks, PDFs, downloads, and other digital content, all sales are generally final once the order is completed and/or access, download, or streaming begins, except:
- where the digital product is defective,
- where we delivered the wrong product, or
- where applicable law requires a refund or cancellation right.
3. Return Conditions
For a change-of-mind return, the item must be:
- in resalable condition,
- free from writing, marks, folds, tears, stains, or other damage,
- complete with all original packaging, inserts, and accompanying items, if any.
We may deny or reduce a change-of-mind refund if the item shows use beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, unless local law provides otherwise.
4. Non-Returnable Items
Unless required by law, the following items are not returnable for change of mind:
- digital downloads or digital access products once access or download has begun,
- personalized, custom-made, or special-order items,
- gift cards or store credit,
- any item marked Final Sale where such designation is lawful,
- items returned incomplete or damaged by the customer.
5. How to Start a Return

Please include:
- your order number,
- the item(s) you want to return, and
- the reason for the return.
For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, please also include photos of the item and packaging where possible.
We will send return instructions after reviewing the request.
6. Return Shipping Costs
- For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless SRS Books states otherwise.
- If the item is damaged, defective, incorrect, or not as described, SRS Books will cover reasonable return shipping costs or provide a prepaid return label where available.
- Where local law requires a different allocation of return shipping costs, we will follow local law.
7. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you whether the refund is approved.
If approved, refunds will be sent to the original payment method within 14 calendar days after:
- we receive the returned item, or
- where required by law, after you provide proof that the item has been sent back.
Unless required by law:
- original outbound shipping charges are not refunded for change-of-mind returns,
- upgraded or expedited shipping charges are not refunded.
If the return is due to our error or because the item is damaged, defective, or not as described, we will refund:
- the purchase price,
- the applicable taxes, and
- the original shipping charge where required by law or where appropriate.
8. Exchanges
We may offer a replacement or exchange instead of a refund when stock is available. If a replacement is unavailable, we will issue a refund where applicable.
9. Orders from Third-Party Marketplaces
This policy applies only to purchases made directly from SRS Books.
If you purchased an SRS Books product through a marketplace, reseller, or retail partner, that seller’s return policy applies unless mandatory law says otherwise.
10. Fraud Prevention and Abuse
SRS Books reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds in cases of abuse, fraud, repeated excessive returns, or items returned in a condition inconsistent with this policy, except where prohibited by law.
11. Statutory Consumer Rights by Location
Nothing in this policy excludes, limits, or replaces any mandatory rights available under the consumer laws that apply in your location.
For example:
- customers in the EU/EEA and United Kingdom may have legal cancellation or withdrawal rights for distance purchases, subject to applicable exceptions and procedures;
- customers in Australia and New Zealand retain statutory rights to remedies for goods that are faulty, unsafe, misdescribed, or unfit for purpose, regardless of store policy;
- customers in other jurisdictions retain any non-waivable rights provided by local law.
12. Digital Content Notice
Where local law allows it, by purchasing and immediately accessing or downloading digital content from SRS Books, you acknowledge that supply may begin immediately and that any cancellation right that would otherwise apply may end once access or download begins. This does not affect your rights if the digital content is faulty or if local law gives you additional protection.

We may update this policy from time to time. The version posted on our website at the time of your purchase will apply to that purchase, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
