Shipping Policy
At SRS Books, we aim to provide efficient and reliable shipping for all orders.
This Shipping Policy explains how we process, dispatch, and deliver orders placed through our online store.
1. Dispatch Time
We aim to dispatch orders from our available local stock within 2–3 working days after your order is confirmed and payment has been processed.
Working days exclude weekends and public holidays.
Dispatch times may be longer during busy periods, public holidays, stock transfers, courier delays, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. If there is a significant delay, we will try to inform you by email.
2. Stock Locations
Our main stock locations are:
- Hungary
- United Kingdom
- USA
- Australia
- India
Where possible, we dispatch your order from the stock location closest to your delivery address.
If an item is not available from a nearby stock location, we may need to ship it from another country using an international courier. This may increase the delivery time.
If a longer delivery time applies, we will make reasonable efforts to keep you updated by email or through the order status page.
3. Transit Time
Once your order has been dispatched, delivery times depend on the courier service, stock location, destination country, customs processing, and your local postal or courier network.
Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout where available.
As a general guide:
- domestic or local-region deliveries may take a few working days;
- international deliveries may take longer, especially where customs clearance is required.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless expressly stated.
4. EU Delivery Timing
For consumer orders within the European Union, unless we agree a different delivery time with you, we will deliver the products without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the order is accepted.
If we cannot deliver within the agreed time, we will inform you. Where required by law, you may be entitled to cancel the order and receive a refund.
5. Tracking
Where tracking is available, we will provide a tracking number or tracking link after dispatch.
Tracking information may take some time to update after the courier receives the parcel.
6. Split Shipments
If your order contains items stored in different stock locations, we may ship your order in separate parcels.
If this happens, you may receive more than one tracking number and your items may arrive on different dates.
7. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs, where applicable, are shown at checkout before you place your order.
The total delivery cost may depend on the delivery address, courier service, product weight, stock location, and available shipping method.
8. Customs, Import Duties, and Taxes
For international deliveries, your order may be subject to customs duties, import VAT, handling fees, or other charges imposed by your country.
These charges are not controlled by SRS Books and are the responsibility of the customer unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout.
Customs processing may also delay delivery.
9. Incorrect or Incomplete Delivery Address
Please ensure that your delivery address is complete and accurate before placing your order.
We are not responsible for delays, failed delivery, or additional costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address, failed delivery, or non-collection, we may contact you to arrange redelivery. Additional delivery charges may apply.
10. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Parcels
If your order appears to be delayed, lost, damaged, or incorrectly delivered, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please include your order number, delivery address, tracking information, and a short description of the issue.
If an item arrives damaged, please also include photos of the damaged item and packaging where possible.
We will work with the courier and with you to find an appropriate solution.
